- Tracy Crookston Review added: 2018.08.16★ ★ ★ ★ ★The most amazing cottage and area to stay in. This has been our second stay at Leighanders and we are booked for a further 2 stays this year. The cottage has 2 spacious bedrooms good size open plan kitchen livingroom with all amenities you need plus Sky Tv, a lovely bonus. The views are to die for and there is ample scenic walks in the surrounding area of Dufftown, which if you are a Whisky buff is just perfect as Dufftown is the Whisky capital of the highlands with lots of distilleries to explore. Outwith the area there are lots of gorgeous beach and forest walks, very good bakers and butchers within 10 miles. The wonderful Angela and Ian (the owners) are always on hand to help out with anything and give advice nothing is too much trouble. Overall a fab place to stay and we can't wait for our forthcoming stays there.
